Life skills are the abilities and positive behaviours that enable individuals to deal with the demands and challenges of everyday life.  Perfect for children, adolescents and teens.

Occupational Therapy

In-person 

Occupational Therapy can assist you with coping with everyday life activities. An OT deals with real life and can be seen as the functional therapist.  We can address your concerns at home, school or work.  We are knowledgeable about adaptive equipment, housing modifications, safety at home, return to work or school programming. We can assist with accommodations at school or work.

Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP)

A highly structured 10-week program

PGAP® was designed to prevent or reduce the severity of disability that can arise following injury or illness.

 

The primary goals of PGAP are to reduce psycho-social barriers to rehabilitation progress, promote re-integration into life-role activities, increase quality of life, and facilitate return-to-work. These goals are achieved through targeted treatment of psycho-social risk factors, structured activity scheduling, graded-activity involvement, goal-setting, problem-solving, and motivational enhancement.

COGMed

25 online training sessions

Cogmed Working Memory Training is an evidence-based, computerized training program designed by leading neuroscientists to improve attention by effectively increasing working memory capacity over a 5 week training period (with variations to that protocol).

 

Pricing includes the computerized training program for approximately 25-30 days, weekly coaching sessions, interim and final reports.

Yoga

Mindfulness Yoga

1:1 or small group sessions

Mindfulness yoga provides a combination of exercise and meditation. Focusing on promoting the relationship between one's mind and their body. Each session is planned around each individual's capabilities to ensure they experience all the benefits.
